As a skilled Marketing Manager with 12 years of international marketing experience, I specialize in content strategy, digital marketing, and brand growth. I align content creation with business objectives and customers’ interests, delivering consistent double-digit YOY revenue increases, expanding brand presence in targeted markets, and leveraging influencer networks for record-breaking marketing ROI. My expertise spans SEO, lead generation, market analysis, and omnichannel marketing strategies. With a global perspective gained from working and studying in the APAC region, I thrive in developing marketing initiatives that resonate with international audiences and drive measurable business success. I’m also a committed culture builder, leading corporate community events and employee resource groups.

Lead Generation

I specialize in lead generation strategies that drive business growth, utilizing my knowledge of SEO and SEM to capture visitors and convert them into subscribers. My efforts have led to a 10X increase in new email subscriptions YOY for TrainingPeaks.

Marketing Funnel Analysis

To align marketing efforts with business objectives, I regularly analyze marketing funnels to optimize for customer journeys and improve conversion rates. By identifying gaps in the TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU, I’ve boosted traffic, capture rate, and conversions.

Brand Campaigns

Integrating content with paid media, partnerships, and multi-channel campaigns, I augment brand marketing efforts to enhance visibility and engagement. I’ve overseen the TrainingPeaks influencer marketing program, realizing 57% ROI.

Integrated Content

My team creates integrated content strategies that align with business objectives, bolstering brand, lifecycle, promotional, and go-to-market campaigns. This approach has driven measurable growth, including a 20% YOY revenue increase.

AI Search

My team is eagerly embracing the AI search revolution, realizing its potential to boost brand awareness and drive qualified leads. Following generative engine optimization efforts, we’ve seen multiple articles gain visibility in the AI Overview.

Team Management

As Manager of Content at TrainingPeaks, I manage a team of four individual contributors, including a Content Strategist, Content Producer, Content Editor, and Social Media Manager.

  • Problem: TrainingPeaks was struggling to capture website visitors despite high site traffic.

Strategy: Make it easy for visitors to sign up for emails by strategically placing CTAs on relevant pages.

Result: Achieved over 10X new email subscribers YOY, effectively generating quality leads in our marketing pipeline.

  • Opportunity: TrainingPeaks sought to increase brand awareness in the DACH region.

Strategy: Conducted research to identify trending topics and ultimately oversaw translation of top-performing articles into German.

Result: Delivered a regional 7X increase in organic clicks and 4X boost in impressions from German visitors.

  • Opportunity: Boost brand awareness in target markets by testing out influencer marketing on social media.

Strategy: Collaborate with micro- and macro-influencers on multi-post partnerships, offering coupon codes for promotional pushes.

Result: In addition to millions of unique views, we achieved 57% ROI at a record-low cost per reach.

  • Problem: TrainingPeaks has a robust library of articles that have historically ranked well in search results. Following the launch of Google’s AI Overview, some articles became buried below generative results.

Strategy: My team updated key articles using Google’s EEAT criteria, improving readability and adding backlinks and multimedia.

Results: Within one week, these select articles dominated all top spots in the AI Overview.

I’ve been lucky to realize a fulfilling career — first as a writer and then as a marketing professional. Here are some fun facts about me and my work:

  • I spent five years living in Asia in my early twenties, first teaching English and then as a university student.

  • I'm a graduate of The University of Hong Kong, with a double major in journalism and geography.

  • I launched my writing career in Tokyo in 2014, where I was a contributing writer and columnist for Eurobiz Japan, the magazine of the European Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo. My beats included environmental technology, economics, international business, and hospitality.

  • I'm a Certified Wine Specialist (WSET Level 3), and I wrote a wine column that was sponsored by Riedel glassware for Eurobiz Japan for seven years.

  • After returning to the States on Christmas Day of 2015, I relocated to Colorado, where I still live to this day. I enjoy being active outside, spending quality time with friends and family, planning my next international trip, and catching the latest ballet.

  • I’m committed to building a positive company culture wherever I go. I currently lead the Women of Peaksware Employee Resource Group, facilitating numerous events that champion inclusion in the workplace, and have also implemented monthly fika breaks for all Peaksware employees to connect.
